As many of you are aware, Jack is a massive fan of cakes and any cake like product. Almost every day Jack asks to bake, and today was another one of those days.
When we got home this afternoon Jack helpfully went to the cupboard and got out the mixing bowl just to really demonstrate what he wanted to do (as if saying
make cake Mummy while signing cake over and over wasn’t quite enough.)
So, I agreed. Jack weighed out the ingredients, handed me a spoon and instructed me to mix. He told me when to mix faster, then slower and finally when to stop when the mixture looked like it was to Sir’s liking.
I asked him if he would like to spoon the mixture into the cases, to which he responded
no, Mummy better at it and handed me the spoon.
His lordship kept a close eye over the whole process and instructed me once I was finished to
give Jack spoon please, put cakes in oven.
As soon as my back was turned to put them into the oven, he nabbed the bowl and started to demolish anything that was left in it.
What did we learn today? Get your Mum to do everything and Jack reaps the rewards!
