Firefighter Jack to the rescue! by Rose

@ McDonald Road Fire Station, Edinburgh

Two posts for Jack’s hectic Sunday are required, and this one is the first.

Sunday morning Jack got up at 7.20, which considering we have all been sleeping until 8.30 every morning the last few weeks was a bit of a shock to the system to be honest!

We all got up and headed up town to John Lewis as I wanted to have a look at a few more baby things, and Jack wanted to look at the toys. We had a walk about and headed up to the cafe so that Jack could have a gingerbread man, it was the quietest he had been all week!

We then headed down to the fire station to see Uncle Johnny. Jack quickly changed into his uniform and spent most of the time there running from the fire engine, driving to a fire, getting out of the fire engine, putting the fire out, getting back in the fire engine — you get the drift!

He had a fantastic time and loves visiting his Uncle Johnny at the fire station, so once again a big thank you for letting Jack come to visit!

He was really sad to leave, but we promised him we can go back again soon and will have to get him a new suit for next time as the one he has isn’t designed to be worn almost every day, so its starting to fall apart!
