Reading at the Animal Shelter is fun. I think reading to animals is a good program that benefits children and animals.
The pets get to socialize instead of being stuck in there cages all the time. The children get to read to pets and have fun.
I got to read to a very old dog who was called Oliver James Picklebottom. His tongue was sticking out of the side of his mouth the whole time. I got to pet a cat called Frank Sinatra that was full of attention. I finally got to visit a rabbit called Popcorn that sniffed me and tried to escape his cage.
It was very enjoyable.
